I like Sarah Palin as a conservative spokesperson but quitting a job the job as governor really bothered me....the last thing accomplished women need is a very public example of not being able to take the heat. Got my PhD in chemistry. We worked no less than 80 hours a week in a grueling, highly competitive research environment. Med students and the liberal arts PhD's had a lot of free time on their hands. My own take on happiness after digesting all the various theories and opinions is this: Happiness is work life balance tips. It varies from person to person.
