
The most common example of an ad hominem fallacy is when one person makes a claim, and a second person says that it is in person A's best interest to make that claim, and therefore the claim is incorrect. Another ad hominem fallacy example is when person A makes a claim, and person B attacks person A's circumstances, and therefore claims that person A's original claim is false.
